Our Mission
The mission of the agency is to provide quality mental health care services as well as top notch professional development services for social workers in the field.
Ray Smith is a travel multi-Licensed Clinical Social Worker (home state of MD). A graduate of Lock Haven University, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 1999 and furthered his education at the University of Pittsburgh, achieving his Master’s in Social Work in 2001. A member of the National Association of Social Worker, he is recognized as a Qualified Clinical Social Worker (QCSW). He is also approved by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners as a Clinical Social Work Supervisor and opened his private practice, Comprehensive Social Work Services in the fall of 2021.
My Style
My treatment approach is tailored to your specific needs that can leave you with skills that will help you with any daily challenges. My primary treatment modality is CBT, but I also use a mix of others as well, as there is no one size fits all approach. The ultimate goal is to provide you with the strength you need to become self-sufficient with circumstances in your life that cause you undue stress.

Mental Health Therapy – traditional psychotherapy to address a myriad of issues/needs that you may be experiencing.
Couples Therapy – to help you and your significant other find the best way for you to resolve relational conflict that may be creating issues in the relationship.
$40 for group clinical supervision and $35 for a group of three or more.

Clinical Supervision – for those who need hours toward remaining in compliance with their regulatory body as well as direction from a clinical lens. ($75/session)
Clinical Group Supervision – Provide groups opportunities to review topics that have clinical implications ($25/session with a minimum of three individuals).
